'The Collective Old Oak is a new build 550-unit graduate, co-living, rental housing scheme in Willesden Junction. The target market is the young professional or recent graduate with a budding personality looking for a fully-serviced living lifestyle. The amenities in the development range from an in-house masseuse, to themed dining rooms available for hire to host dinner parties, to cleaners who change bedsheets.
Inspired by The Collective brand, Design Haus Liberty designed all of the interior architecture and concept of all of the units, front of house, back of house and commercial space on the ground floor. In addition we devised a branding and way-finding strategy which could be applied across a range of upcoming schemes. The design methodology involved the process of abstracting elements of the client’s brand and applying this to the signage and way-finding strategy throughout the interiors, notably in reception, stairwells and lift lobbies. This attention-to-detail and cohesive approach was applied to various bespoke components, including door and cupboard handles.'
